The girls have really started to take notice of each other the past week. They have noticed each other before, but usually they just noticed the toys that the other one was playing with. Now they seem to really know that they live with another person.
It's so cute to watch them wave and clap at each other. They also play a baby version of Marco Polo. One of them will go, "Auh" and the other will answer "Auh." They do this when they are in different rooms.
They also have started to play something resembling tag. They will be playing independently. Then suddenly they will look at each other and shriek. One girl will start crawling away and the other will start chasing her. Then the one being chased will suddenly turn around and attack the other one. This is all accompanied by lots of giggles and shrieks.
They still like to steal each other's binkies through their crib bars, but it seems to be more of a game now. I've actually seen Lydia go over to the bars and taunt Charlotte with her binkie. It's like she's saying, "come here and play with me. You know you want to."
Here's a video that shows lot of the things the girls have been up to the past few weeks. Enjoy.
