Celebrating Brandon's Birthday

Brandon will turn 30 years old on November 30th.  Unfortunately he will still be at basic training so there isn't much he can do to celebrate his birthday.  Double unfortunately there isn't a lot of stuff we can send him.  Things like candy, electronics, and magazines aren't allowed where he is.

But there is something that we CAN do.  I want us to bombard Brandon with birthday cards.  Imagine how awesome it would be if Brandon started receiving tons and tons of birthday cards.  He would love it!

And don't worry if you don't know Brandon that well or whatever.  If you have enjoyed reading his letters that I post here then you know him well enough to send him a birthday card.

Plus Brandon and the other guys only have mail handed out when their mail crate gets full.  So sending Brandon lots of mail will ensure everyone in his platoon gets their mail really often.

So in the next few days please take a minute and send him a card. The last possible day to mail a card and have it get to Fort Benning by his birthday is Tuesday November 27.   However, you should probably send it as soon as possible to allow for any delays in getting it delivered once it is on base.

His address is:

331 Illguth Brandon
Bravo Company, 2-19th Infantry
198th Infantry Brigade
9050 Kinsman Dr
Fort Benning, GA 31905

Remember don't send candy, electronics, or magazines.  Just cards.

Thanks!  This is going to be awesome!
